Well known cartoonist and the author of graphic novel “Maus” talks about the stages of designing his graphic novel. Maus is a story of holocaust narrated in a very attractive and unusual style.

  1. I just watched the whole video of Spiegelman talking on Aljazeera. Completely amazing! I love the comment that he made about not being excited to draw in response to beautiful subject matter, but instead drawing because he was irritated about something, and because he felt he had to make a statement. That makes sense of both his work on Maus and some of his politically-driven New Yorker covers. What a great interview.
